Questions and Answers

Below you will find answers to many common questions about Poly Giving Day 2023.

What is Poly Giving Day?

Poly Giving Day is a 24-hour celebration of Poly and the power of giving back. It will be held on April 12, 2023, from midnight to 11:59 p.m., PST. It’s a special opportunity for alumni, parents, grandparents, friends, faculty, staff, and Panthers around the world to come together in support of every person, program, activity, and space that form the Poly experience.

How can you participate in Poly Giving Day?

There are many ways to participate!

Make a donation of any size on April 12, 2023. Give before midnight to multiply the impact of your gift by unlocking a challenge-match gift! Each gift helps cultivate the transformational teaching and joyful experiences that lead to #InspiredatPoly students and alumni who will contribute profoundly to the world.

Help spread the word! Become an Ambassador and encourage your Poly network to support. Share how Poly has inspired your life by posting online. Give a shoutout on social media to a teacher, student, or alum who is important to you. Make sure to use the hashtags #PolyGivingDay or #InspiredatPoly when posting online.

What are challenge and matching gifts?

A few generous donors have offered to match donations made during Poly Giving Day. For example, with our Early Bird Match, the first $20,000 raised will be matched by a Poly parent! We are excited to share even more unique opportunities to multiply your impact. Keep an eye out for announcements in the coming weeks.
