What is Poly Giving Day?
Last year, the Poly community came together for #GivingTuesdayNow. Similarly, Poly Giving Day is an online fundraising campaign and celebration of Poly and its supporters.
How can you participate in Poly Giving Day?
Invest in Poly students by making a gift that is personally meaningful to you, and unlock a challenge gift. Wear your favorite Panther gear and post photos online. Give a Poly shoutout to a teacher, student, or alum who is important to you on social media. Make sure to use the hashtag #PolyGivingDay when posting online.
What are challenge and matching gifts?
A few generous donors have offered to match donations made during Poly Giving Day. For example, the first $50,000 raised will be matched by an anonymous Poly trustee! We are excited to share even more unique opportunities to multiply your impact, for alumni (including reunion and recent graduates), parents, and more. Keep an eye out for announcements before and during Poly Giving Day.
Where does my Poly Giving Day gift go?
Gifts during Poly Giving Day support the Poly Fund, the area of greatest need, unless otherwise designated. Your donation supports financial aid, faculty salaries, and every program, activity, and space that makes our school special. You can learn more about how the Poly Fund helps with increased expenses related to COVID-19 here.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Polytechnic School is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provide donors with tax benefits to the full extent of the law. Your gift qualifies for a tax deduction in accordance with IRS regulations, during the calendar year that you make your gift. After making a gift you will receive an email with information that can serve as a receipt for your files. Please consult your tax professional for more information.
Can my employer match my donation?
Yes, many organizations will match gifts to Poly! Please include the name of your employer in this donation form.
